How we chose these semaglutide providers
On Nov. 4, 2026, we checked 84 programs’ public pages, with no quiz, account or checkout: 67 publish prices we could read, and 40 sell compounded semaglutide in Washington. We picked one for each need, judged on what each program publishes: the all-in price at every dose, what’s included, and how it bills and renews. NexLife publishes this guide and is our top pick.
Prices are each program’s published national prices; a few limit what they sell in some states, so confirm before you pay. Full index with sources: GLP-1 price index. Nationally, side by side: best semaglutide providers. By dose: semaglutide price by dose. Month by month: compounded semaglutide price.
Key takeaways

- A pharmacy outside Washington needs a Washington license to ship you a prescription; you can look it up in minutes.
- Your prescriber needs a Washington license or compact authorization to treat you there, with narrow exceptions.
- Heat is the local risk: Pasco reached 86°F or more on 70 of 122 summer days in 2026; Bellingham on 2.

How we compared. On Nov. 4, 2026, we read the public pricing pages of the 67 programs in our price index (no quiz, account or checkout) and checked PreventiveMD’s and Mondae’s in a live browser. For each one we record six things: the month-to-month price with every required fee added; whether it rises with your dose; how often it bills (every 4 weeks or 28 days is 13 charges a year, not 12); its prepaid rates and what it takes up front; the 12-month total both ways; and whether it sells in Washington. When a program’s own pages disagree, its row says so.

Compounding pharmacies licensed to mail compounded injections to Washington residents
Only pharmacies licensed by Washington’s Department of Health may mail you compounded semaglutide. An out-of-state pharmacy needs a Washington nonresident pharmacy license from the Department of Health, a valid home-state license and an inspection report under two years old at licensing and every renewal. Since Feb. 5, 2026, many states’ inspections count only for pharmacies that don’t compound. It must also offer a toll-free line.

Not your price or how you’re seen: care is online, and NexLife’s price is the same anywhere in Washington. What changes is the heat at your door. Local health numbers differ too: CDC estimates adult obesity at 22.6% in King County and 39.7% in Yakima County, against 30.6% statewide.

How it works
How to get semaglutide in Washington, from your couch to your door
Online, in four steps, with no insurance needed. Here’s what happens at NexLife.
- Answer a few health questionsAbout 3 minutes online: your health history, your medicines and your goals.
- A licensed provider reviews themA provider licensed to treat you in Washington decides whether compounded semaglutide is right for you, following Washington’s rules. You’re prescribed only if it is.
- A licensed pharmacy prepares itYour prescription goes to a partner pharmacy with the licenses Washington requires, which usually ships within 1 to 2 business days, free.
- It comes to your doorIn an insulated, cold-packed box. Put it in the fridge right away; if it arrives warm, don’t use it: call or text (949) 818-8000.
How do you keep semaglutide cool in a Washington summer?
Store compounded semaglutide the way your prescription label says, usually in the fridge at 36°F to 46°F, and get the box inside fast. Wegovy’s rule for pens kept at 46°F to 86°F for up to 28 days doesn’t apply to compounded vials. Orders through NexLife ship in insulated, cold-packed boxes; if yours arrives warm, don’t use it: call or text (949) 818-8000.
On hot days, be home for delivery or pick a shaded drop-off spot, and get the box into the fridge right away. In a disaster, when the governor proclaims an emergency that cuts off access to medicines, Washington pharmacists may dispense up to 30 days of current non-controlled prescriptions, or a one-time emergency refill if the prescriber can’t be reached. They must document it and tell your provider. (Washington State Legislature) More: how to store compounded semaglutide.
Can you get semaglutide online in Washington?
Yes. Washington lets licensed providers treat you by telehealth, under the rules below. Your prescriber needs a Washington license or compact authorization, and a pharmacy outside Washington needs a Washington license to ship to you.
Getting care online
A provider may treat you by telehealth in Washington if it fits their Washington scope of practice and professional standards. The same rules as in-person care apply to prescribing, identity checks, records and informed consent. Care can start by telehealth, within the limits the law sets.

Does insurance cover semaglutide in Washington in 2026?
For weight loss alone, rarely. Apple Health, Washington’s Medicaid program, doesn’t cover Wegovy for weight loss in adults; it can cover it for heart disease or MASH. Washington’s state employee plan doesn’t cover GLP-1s for weight loss. With Medicare Part D, the GLP-1 Bridge can bring the Wegovy pen or pill to $50 a month.
Apple Health: not for weight loss
No, not for weight loss in adults 21 and older; for members 20 and younger, its EPSDT rules apply. With prior authorization, Apple Health can cover Wegovy (injection or tablet) for adults with heart disease, such as a prior heart attack or stroke, who have a BMI of 27 or more and no diabetes, or for moderate to severe MASH with F2-F3 fibrosis (policy effective Feb. 1, 2026).
Washington State Legislature
Public Employees Benefits Board: not for weight loss
No. PEBB says GLP-1 drugs such as Wegovy are “not currently covered for weight loss by any PEBB plans” (February 2026). Its October 2026 notice of 2027 changes lists one prescription change, for HIV drugs.
SEBB Program (school employees) (K-12 school district and educational service district employees): HCA told the Legislature in December 2024 that SEBB’s plans, from UMP to Kaiser and Premera, don’t cover drugs prescribed for weight loss. Ask your SEBB plan to confirm for 2026.
PEBB for public colleges and universities (higher-education employees in PEBB): Higher-education employees get PEBB coverage, so the same rule applies: GLP-1s aren’t covered for weight loss by any PEBB plan (February 2026), and the 2027 changes add none.

Medicare: $50 through the GLP-1 Bridge
Eligible Part D enrollees can get the Wegovy pen or pill, the Zepbound KwikPen or Foundayo for $50 a month, with prior authorization, from July 1, 2026, to Dec. 31, 2027. Who qualifies
TRICARE: Prime and Select still cover weight-loss medications in certain circumstances; TRICARE For Life has excluded them since Aug. 31, 2025.

Job-based and marketplace plans: it depends on your plan
Washington’s insurance regulator says employer-sponsored self-funded plans aren’t state-regulated, so their rules and appeals come from the plan. Ask HR whether your plan is self-funded, whether Zepbound or Wegovy is covered for weight loss, and what prior authorization needs.
If your plan says no. After your insurer’s internal appeal, you can ask a certified review organization to review the denial; the insurer pays, and the decision is final. Reviews stay within your plan’s covered benefits. Self-funded employer plans, Apple Health, TRICARE, UMP and Medicare have their own appeals. Your insurer’s decision letter explains how to ask.

How do you check a semaglutide provider in Washington?
In about five minutes, for free. Ask for your prescriber’s name and license and the pharmacy that will fill your prescription, then look both up on Washington’s public license searches. A good program answers in writing. Here are the questions to ask, with NexLife’s answers.
- Get two namesYour prescriber’s, and your pharmacy’s.

Can you bring semaglutide back from Canada?
Not legally, in most cases. Buying in Canada? The FDA says drugs approved in another country are unapproved in the U.S., and importing them, for personal use or otherwise, violates federal law. Heat is a second risk: Zepbound’s and Wegovy’s labels don’t allow storage above 86°F. The legal route is a Washington-licensed prescriber and a pharmacy Washington has licensed.

How many units is your semaglutide dose?
It depends on your vial’s strength. Here are the Wegovy label’s dose steps at two example strengths, with the math to check your own.
| Weeks | Weekly dose | At 2.5 mg/mL | At 5 mg/mL |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 to 4 | 0.25 mg | 0.1 mL (10 units) | 0.05 mL (5 units) |
| 5 to 8 | 0.5 mg | 0.2 mL (20 units) | 0.1 mL (10 units) |
| 9 to 12 | 1 mg | 0.4 mL (40 units) | 0.2 mL (20 units) |
| 13 to 16 | 1.7 mg | 0.68 mL (68 units) | 0.34 mL (34 units) |
| 17 onward | 2.4 mg | 0.96 mL (96 units) | 0.48 mL (48 units) |
The math: mL = dose ÷ strength (mg per mL), and units = mL × 100. At 2.5 mg/mL, 1 mg is 1 ÷ 2.5 = 0.4 mL, or 40 units. At 5 mg/mL, the same 1 mg is 0.2 mL, or 20 units.
Both strengths are examples only. The same dose is a different number of units at a different strength, so read the strength on your own vial’s label. Your prescription sets your dose and schedule, which may differ from these label steps. Every step: the semaglutide dosage chart.

With Medicare Part D: the Medicare GLP-1 Bridge, $50 a month for eligible enrollees, with prior authorization. Without automatic renewals: Rx.com. For help getting insurance to pay: Ro.
Where can I get semaglutide near me in Washington?
Wherever you live in Washington, you can start online: a provider licensed in Washington evaluates you and, if it’s right for you, a licensed pharmacy ships semaglutide to your door. In person, health-system weight programs and local clinics prescribe it. With a prescription for brand-name Wegovy, NovoCare Pharmacy delivers it, or a retail pharmacy can fill it.
Can I get GLP-1 weight-loss injections online in Washington?
Yes. 40 programs in our price index sell compounded semaglutide online in Washington; our top pick, NexLife, is $95 a month on the 12-month plan or $109 month to month. A provider licensed in Washington decides whether it’s right for you, and a licensed pharmacy mails it to you. Compounded versions aren’t FDA-approved.
Does NexLife have clinics near me?
No, and you don’t need one: NexLife’s care is online, wherever you are in Washington. After about 3 minutes of health questions, a provider licensed in Washington decides whether treatment is right for you; if you’re prescribed, a state-licensed compounding pharmacy sends it with free expedited shipping. Support is around the clock: call or text (949) 818-8000.
Does Apple Health cover Wegovy for weight loss?
No. Apple Health doesn’t cover Wegovy for weight loss in adults 21 and older. With prior authorization, it can cover the injection or tablet for adults with heart disease, such as a prior heart attack or stroke, who have a BMI of 27 or more and no diabetes, or for MASH with F2-F3 fibrosis. First approvals last six months.
Does PEBB cover Wegovy for Washington state employees?
No. PEBB says GLP-1 drugs are “not currently covered for weight loss by any PEBB plans,” in its February 2026 newsletter, and that includes Wegovy. State agency and higher-education employees are in PEBB. Its October 2026 notice of 2027 changes lists just one prescription change, for HIV drugs.
Does SEBB cover Wegovy for school employees?
Not as of HCA’s December 2024 report. HCA told the Legislature then that SEBB’s plans, including UMP, Kaiser and Premera, don’t cover drugs prescribed for weight loss. SEBB’s 2026 benefit changes don’t mention these drugs, so ask your plan before you fill.
Is compounded semaglutide legal in Washington?
Yes, with a prescription for you, from a pharmacy Washington has licensed. The FDA ended the semaglutide shortage on Feb. 21, 2025. Washington’s Pharmacy Commission says salt forms of semaglutide may not be used, and bulk semaglutide must come from an FDA-registered source licensed in Washington. It isn’t FDA-approved.
Does my semaglutide prescriber need a Washington license?
Yes, or authorization through a compact Washington belongs to. Washington is a full member of the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact, and its telehealth law allows only narrow exceptions, such as follow-up care while you’re briefly in the state. Check any provider’s credential free on the Department of Health’s search before you start.
Can an out-of-state pharmacy ship semaglutide to Washington?
Yes, once the Department of Health licenses it as a nonresident pharmacy. It must keep a valid home-state license, send an inspection report under two years old at licensing and every renewal, and offer a toll-free line. A pharmacy that compounds needs an inspection from a program Washington approves for compounders.
How do I keep semaglutide cold in a Washington summer?
Refrigerate it as soon as it arrives. Before the cap comes off, Wegovy’s label allows 46°F to 86°F for up to 28 days, and says to discard a pen that got hotter. Compounded vials follow their own pharmacy label. On Aug. 1, 2026, the governor declared a statewide emergency for wildfires and extreme weather.
How much does semaglutide cost in Washington without insurance?
Compounded semaglutide runs $87 to $348 a month online, median $199 (price index, checked Nov. 4, 2026). The Wegovy pen at NovoCare Pharmacy is $199 for each of a new patient’s first two fills (through Dec. 31, 2026), then $349 a month ($399 at 7.2 mg); the Wegovy pill is $149 to $299. NexLife charges $95 a month on the 12-month plan.

Important safety information
Compounded tirzepatide and semaglutide are not FDA-approved, and the FDA hasn’t reviewed them for safety, effectiveness or quality. A provider prescribes them only when they offer a significant difference for you compared with an FDA-approved product.
Both medicines may cause thyroid tumors, including cancer: don’t use either if you or a family member has had medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC) or multiple endocrine neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN 2). Read the full safety information
In studies with rodents, both medicines caused thyroid tumors; it isn’t known whether they cause them in people. Tell your provider if you notice a lump or swelling in your neck, hoarseness, trouble swallowing or shortness of breath. Serious side effects can include inflammation of the pancreas (pancreatitis), gallbladder problems, low blood sugar (especially with insulin or sulfonylureas), kidney problems from dehydration, severe stomach problems, serious allergic reactions, vision changes in people with type 2 diabetes, and a faster heart rate. Tell your care team before any surgery or procedure that uses anesthesia or deep sedation. Don’t combine either medicine with other GLP-1 medicines.
Tirzepatide can make birth control pills less effective: switch to a non-oral method, or add a barrier method such as condoms, for 4 weeks after you start and for 4 weeks after each dose increase. Both medicines may harm an unborn baby. Semaglutide should be stopped at least 2 months before a planned pregnancy. Tell your provider right away if you’re pregnant, planning to be, or breastfeeding.
This is a summary, not the complete safety information. Read the full Prescribing Information for FDA-approved tirzepatide (Zepbound) and semaglutide (Wegovy), and talk with your provider. You can report side effects to the FDA at 1-800-FDA-1088 or fda.gov/medwatch.
