Cost

What does Big Easy Weight Loss cost?

Big Easy’s pricing page lists 12-week compounded tirzepatide packages starting at $469, about $170 a month. Its tirzepatide page lists $599, and prices vary by state and pharmacy.

Read October 27, 2026. Big Easy’s pages list different prices for the same medicine; we show each, with the page it’s on. Its new-patient guide also lists one pharmacy at $360 for 4 weeks, for the 15 mg dose only. Per-4-week figures are our math.

Read October 27, 2026. Big Easy’s pages list different prices for the same medicine; we show each, with the page it’s on. Its new-patient guide also lists one pharmacy at $360 for 4 weeks, for the 15 mg dose only. Per-4-week figures are our math.

What $469 works out to. Paid in 3 monthly installments, a 12-week package is about $156 each. Twelve weeks is a little under 3 months, though, so a year of packages at $469 comes to about $2,038, or about $170 a month, if your price holds (our math). At $599, it’s about $2,603 a year.

Starter pricing. Its pricing page offers new patients “discounted starter pricing”: $399 instead of $495 for semaglutide. Its tirzepatide price shows $469 either way, and its new-patient guide describes an $80 to $100 starter discount.

The $75 consult. You pay it when you book. If you’re prescribed, Big Easy credits it toward your treatment; if you aren’t a fit, it refunds it.

One price at every dose, no membership fee. Its FAQ says its prices cover the consultation, shipping and the medication if prescribed, and that treatment pricing doesn’t change with your dose.

Paying with Affirm or Klarna adds a 3% surcharge and is done by phone, its pages say, unless you pay with an Affirm or Klarna virtual card. CareCredit is accepted by phone too.

How it works

How does Big Easy Weight Loss work?

Online, with a live visit: you book and pay the consult, fill in forms, see a physician, and then the pharmacy ships your whole package. Here’s each step, as Big Easy describes it.

  1. Book a visit and pay $75

You pick your state, a physician, phone or video, and a time. If you’re prescribed, the $75 is credited toward your treatment.

  2. Fill in your intake forms

Photo ID, consents and your health history, in its patient portal. Its guide asks you to finish them more than 12 hours before your visit.

  3. A 30-minute visit with a physician

By phone or video. Its site says the visit is with a physician, not a nurse practitioner or physician assistant.

  4. Charged when it goes to the pharmacy

Usually the evening of your visit or the next morning, in full or as the first of your monthly installments. All the medication ships at once.

  5. A new visit for each refill

About a week before your last shot, you book a follow-up appointment in the portal, its guide says.

Who it’s for. Its FAQ says the physician decides, and that qualifying criteria generally include a BMI over 30, or over 27 with a weight-related condition, and people continuing a maintenance dose. Lab work is up to the physician.

Once it ships, it’s yours. Its billing consent says medication can’t be refunded once it ships. Partner pharmacies ship refrigerated overnight when needed. If a box arrives warm or damaged, its guide says to message Big Easy in its portal.

Already on a GLP-1? Its guide says dosing is between you and the physician, but that it typically tries to continue your care path unless there’s a medical reason not to.

Reviews

What do Big Easy Weight Loss reviews say?

Mostly good things: 90% of its 105 Trustpilot reviews give five stars. Reviewers praise its physicians; some mention capacity and communication as it grows.

  • 4.6 out of 5 on Trustpilot from 105 reviews, “Excellent”
  • 90% of its reviews give five stars and 2% give one star
  • 4.7 in the rating box on its own site “from over 86 reviews”

What Trustpilot’s summary says. Trustpilot shows an AI-written summary of recent reviews at the top of Big Easy’s profile. Trustpilot rewrites it as new reviews come in, so we don’t quote it here: read it on the profile, next to the newest reviews. On the day we read it, the summary was positive overall and mentioned some growing pains.

From Big Easy’s Trustpilot profile, read October 27, 2026. Reviews are individual reports, not Big Easy’s policy, and experiences vary.

Two scores, both shown. The rating box on Big Easy’s home page says, “Our overall rating is 4.7 out of 5 stars from over 86 reviews.” Trustpilot’s own page showed 4.6 from 105 reviews the same day. Big Easy’s site also links to a Facebook group and a subreddit, r/BigEasyWeightLoss.

NexLife, for comparison, is rated 4.8 out of 5 on Trustpilot, from 403 reviews (read October 21, 2026).

Big Easy may suit you better if

  • You want a live visit with a physician: 30 minutes by phone or video, then a 15-minute follow-up each quarter, in the price.
  • You want to choose your pharmacy. Big Easy lists 7 main partners and access to about two dozen more; NexLife works with two.
  • You’d rather pay for 8 to 12 weeks at a time, in monthly installments, or with CareCredit.
  • You also want sermorelin, NAD+ or another medicine from its catalog of more than 70.
  • Its lowest listed price is open to you: a year at $469 per 12 weeks, about $2,038, is close to NexLife’s $2,028 month to month, and you prefer its visits.

NexLife may suit you better if

  • You want one monthly price: $139 a month on the 12-month plan, or $169 month to month, at every dose. A year on the 12-month plan is $1,668, about $370 less than a year at Big Easy’s lowest listed price.
  • You want real people 24/7, by call or text, at (949) 818-8000.
  • You want Affirm, Klarna or Afterpay at checkout, or a letter of medical necessity for HSA and FSA claims.
  • You want the pharmacy handled for you: questions about your order come to us, and we follow up with the pharmacy.
  • You’d rather start online: a 3-minute assessment, then a licensed provider reviews it, by secure video where your state requires a live visit.

Both programs offer compounded medicines, which aren’t FDA-approved. The FDA explains what that means:

“This means that FDA does not verify the safety, effectiveness or quality of compounded drugs before they are marketed.”

At NexLife

Switching from Big Easy, step by step

Time it to your package. Big Easy ships a whole package at once, so the end of one is the natural moment to switch.

  1. Big Easy charges for a package when your prescription goes to the pharmacy and ships it all at once, and its billing consent says shipped medication isn’t refundable. The natural moment is near the end of a package, before you book a refill visit.

  2. Your dose in milligrams, your vial’s strength in mg per mL and the pharmacy that filled it. A photo of the label helps.

  3. A licensed provider reviews your history and your current dose, online or by secure video where your state requires a live visit, and decides whether to continue it.

  4. Compounded tirzepatide at NexLife is $139 a month on the 12-month plan or $169 month to month. Paying less with another licensed provider? Our Price Match Guarantee† matches a regular all-in monthly price, with a receipt from the last 60 days; the terms list which prices qualify. See the terms.

New pharmacy, new units. Compounded vials come in different strengths, so the units you drew at Big Easy may not match your new vial. Your dose in milligrams is what carries over: follow your new label, and check the math with our tirzepatide dosage chart.

A pharmacy you may know. Big Easy’s pharmacy list includes Boudreaux’s New Drug Store in Lake Charles, Louisiana, one of NexLife’s two partner pharmacies. Your new label still sets your units.

One number from then on. Questions about your order come to us, 24/7, at (949) 818-8000, and we follow up with the pharmacy for you.

Big Easy Weight Loss: your questions

How much does Big Easy Weight Loss cost?

Big Easy Weight Loss lists 12-week compounded tirzepatide packages starting at $469, after a $75 consult it credits or refunds (checked October 27, 2026). Its tirzepatide page lists $599 for 12 weeks, and its semaglutide packages start at $495, or $399 as a new patient’s starter. Prices vary by state and pharmacy. At NexLife, compounded tirzepatide is $139 a month on the 12-month plan or $169 month to month.

Is Big Easy Weight Loss legit?

Big Easy is a telehealth platform that has operated since May 2024: it names its leaders, says it contracts with nine physicians, lists its pharmacy partners and publishes its prices. It’s rated 4.6 out of 5 on Trustpilot, from 105 reviews (checked October 27, 2026). As with any compounded GLP-1, the medicines it provides aren’t FDA-approved.

Does Big Easy charge a membership fee?

No. Big Easy’s FAQ says it has no membership fee, and that its prices cover the consultation, shipping and the medication if prescribed. You pay $75 to book your first visit, which it credits toward treatment or refunds if you aren’t a fit. NexLife has no membership fee either.

Which pharmacies does Big Easy use?

Big Easy says it has 7 main pharmacy partners and access to about two dozen more. Its pages name Apothecary Pharma, BPI Labs, OptioRx, Hallandale, Miller’s, Boudreaux’s New Drug Store, Seven Cells and ProRx/PerfectRx, and say price and turnaround vary by pharmacy. NexLife works with two: Absolute Pharmacy (Lutz, FL) and Boudreaux’s New Drug Store (Lake Charles, LA).

How long does Big Easy take to ship?

It depends on the pharmacy, and Big Easy’s pages give different times. On October 27, 2026, its home page listed a 2- to 3-day turnaround for six pharmacies, while its pricing page listed 5 to 7 days for the same six and, in another line, 7 to 10 days for four of them. At NexLife, the partner pharmacy usually ships within 1 to 2 business days of a prescription.

How does Big Easy’s physician visit work?

You book a live 30-minute appointment with a physician, by phone or video, and pay $75 to hold it. After that, you can message your physician in its portal, and a 15-minute follow-up visit each quarter is included in the base price, its FAQ says. Refills start with a follow-up appointment you book about a week before your last shot.

What do Big Easy Weight Loss reviews say?

Mostly good things: Big Easy is rated 4.6 out of 5 on Trustpilot, from 105 reviews, and 90% give five stars (checked October 27, 2026). Reviews that mention care tend to praise its physicians, and Trustpilot’s summary of recent reviews mentions growing pains. These are individual experiences, not Big Easy’s policy.

Does Big Easy take insurance, HSA or Klarna?

Big Easy doesn’t file insurance, its FAQ says. It accepts HSA and FSA cards and CareCredit, and Affirm or Klarna with a 3% processing surcharge, which it says you can avoid with an Affirm or Klarna virtual card. NexLife takes HSA and FSA cards, and Affirm, Klarna or Afterpay at checkout.

Can I switch from Big Easy to NexLife?

Yes. Start a 3-minute assessment, share your current dose in milligrams and a photo of your vial label, and a licensed provider reviews it, online or by secure video where your state requires a live visit. If you’re prescribed, a partner pharmacy fills it. Your units may change with the new vial’s strength, so follow the new label.

Does NexLife match Big Easy’s price?

Probably not, and you may not need it. Big Easy sells prepaid 8- to 12-week packages, and our Price Match Guarantee† doesn’t match prepaid multi-month rates: it matches a regular month-to-month price. At Big Easy’s lowest listed price, a year of packages is about $2,038; NexLife’s 12-month plan is $1,668 a year.

Important safety information

Compounded tirzepatide and semaglutide are not FDA-approved, and the FDA hasn’t reviewed them for safety, effectiveness or quality. A provider prescribes them only when they offer a significant difference for you compared with an FDA-approved product. Both medicines may cause thyroid tumors, including cancer: don’t use either if you or a family member has had medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC) or multiple endocrine neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN 2).

Read the full safety information

In studies with rodents, both medicines caused thyroid tumors; it isn’t known whether they cause them in people. Tell your provider if you notice a lump or swelling in your neck, hoarseness, trouble swallowing or shortness of breath. Serious side effects can include inflammation of the pancreas (pancreatitis), gallbladder problems, low blood sugar (especially with insulin or sulfonylureas), kidney problems from dehydration, severe stomach problems, serious allergic reactions, vision changes in people with type 2 diabetes, and a faster heart rate. Tell your care team before any surgery or procedure that uses anesthesia or deep sedation. Don’t combine either medicine with other GLP-1 medicines.

Tirzepatide can make birth control pills less effective: switch to a non-oral method, or add a barrier method such as condoms, for 4 weeks after you start and for 4 weeks after each dose increase. Both medicines may harm an unborn baby. Semaglutide should be stopped at least 2 months before a planned pregnancy. Tell your provider right away if you’re pregnant, planning to be, or breastfeeding.

This is a summary, not the complete safety information. Read the full Prescribing Information for FDA-approved tirzepatide (Zepbound) and semaglutide (Wegovy), and talk with your provider. You can report side effects to the FDA at 1-800-FDA-1088 or fda.gov/medwatch.

† NexLife Price Match Guarantee: for new NexLife members switching from a licensed U.S. telehealth provider or clinic with an active prescription for compounded tirzepatide or semaglutide. We match your regular all-in monthly price there (medication plus any required membership, program or visit fee, on a month-to-month plan); first-month offers, coupons, referral credits and prepaid multi-month rates aren’t matched. Proof from the last 60 days required. A licensed provider must determine that treatment is right for you. Not open to people with Medicare, Medicaid or TRICARE coverage. Full terms.
